CAVOLO NERO AND BELLAGUARDIA WINES

 


An evening dedicated to a tasting journey, accompanied by the exquisite wines of the Bellaguardia winery.

At the foot of the castles of Romeo and Juliet, in Montecchio Maggiore near Vicenza, one might expect to find many things, except, perhaps, a traditional method sparkling wine. But here, on the last slopes of Lessinia, Marco Caltran, along with Alberto and Isidoro Maccagnan, has established a small winery dedicated to just that: classic sparkling wines, or as they call it, the Italian Champagne.
